ADRAL - Regional Development Agency of Alentejo

Brief Description:

ADRAL is the Alentejo Regional Development Agency, working towards the regional development in two main areas: support to companies and entrepreneurs and regional development. ADRAL is the result of a very wide partnership, composed by an ensemble of entities, both public and private, with experience in every sector of economical, entrepreneurial, social research and development activities, geographically spread and deeply acquainted of the regional reality. In ADRAL take part 68 shareholders, in public/private equilibrium, although the public entities represent the major number.

Objectives:

• To reinforce the international position of the region
• To promote innovation and qualification
• To reach high levels of social cohesion, promoting and qualifying the employment and creating future perspectives to youth in the region
• To stimulate the initiative in order to create innovative forms of social mobilisation and institutional co-operation towards the development.
